In India hospitality means welcoming guest by the way of ‘THE ATITHI DEVO BHAVA’. India is a land of plenty. Its vastness, natural flora and fauna, varied and diversified people, cultures and traditions make it a place worth visiting. The Paradise on Earth—Kashmir, God’s own country—Kerela, the wild ass sanctuary at Kutch or the orchids of Sikkim, all are temptuous enough to attract tourists from all around the world to this rich land of ours. No wonder, we are people who are united even amidst diversity!

The Hospitality Industry is the fastest growing and most dynamic industry in the world,. Currently one in every ten people around the world is employed into the hospitality industry. Hospitality and tourism in India is the 3rd largest net foreign earner currently at $3.3 billion. Despite of the fact, the Hospitality Industry still has a shortage of suitable, qualified and experienced people to lead it in rapidly changing global scenario. The Hospitality industry is shaping the future of our economy and of our people. The Industry needs qualified and well trained people to deliver quality service beyond expectation.  Therefore, choosing a career in hospitality and tourism management provides students enormous opportunities.

AIMS offers a wide range of academic programmes in the field of Hospitality Industry. The courses are scheduled in such a manner so as to provide flexibility to accommodate the needs of our diverse student population. College taught courses tend to be strongly oriented to the real needs of the industry. They have a clear flavour of relevance both to our students, including their employment prospects of the industry. AIMS guarantees a stimulating academic experience to the students through its courses. The structure of the courses ensures that knowledge is acquired by leadership skills, teamwork and communication which are applied in a practical situation. Core subject of Hotel Management are as follows :

FOOD AND BEVERAGE PRODUCTION: - The subject includes an in-depth knowledge and expertise of different types of sauces, soups, different types of cutting, different cooking methods, various cuisine such as Indian, Chinese, Continental, Italian, Thai etc.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE: - In this subject you will learn about different types of cutlery, crockery, holloware, different type of restaurants, hotels etc. along with practical of serving different foods and beverages in different methods such as American service, Silver service, Russian service, English service etc. It also teaches cocktail and mocktail making.

FRONT OFFICE: - Front office is the place where guest comes first. This subject covers telephone handling, grooming, handling reservation, guest dealing, critical situation handling, information procedure etc.

ACCOMODATION OPERATION : - This subject imparts knowledge of how to keep room safe comfortable and hygienic, different types of room, along with interior decoration, flower arrangement, colour scheme, floor covering, budgeting, etc.                                   

The Degree, Diploma and Certificate course are structured & designed to meet the National and International standards. To fulfill and maintain the quality education, well qualified professionals of the industry back our departments. The training kitchen, the training restaurant, front office training desk, reception, guest room (housekeeping) are all modern and totally equipped to impart practical training at a high standard.  We enhance this knowledge by:
